Lot 131 – A George III Mahogany Longcase Clock, the hood with part fluted pilasters, and three brass finials, the eight day striking movement with painted arch dial, inscribed “Thomas Farley, Faversham”, the trunk door with moulded edge, flanked by canted and fluted corners, on plinth base, 235cm high. The clock is believed to have been the property of the architect Benjamin Adkins R.I.B.A., who designed buildings such as the Shepherd Neame offices, in Court Street, Faversham.
