Lot 62 – An Art Deco Style Brass Wall Timepiece, of hexagonal form, adapted to a modern battery movement, with Arabic numerals, 35cm wide. Believed to have come from “Barkers of Kensington”, department store, written verso “4th West” (4th floor, west wall), the building was originally designed by the architect Bernard George (1884 – 1964), who worked for the inhouse design team, between 1928 and 1969.
