Lot 203 – Of Dambusters Interest – a framed photograph of Air Marshal Sir Harold Brownlow Morgan ‘Mickey’ Martin, who as pilot of AJ-P “Peter”, took part in the attack on the “Mohne” Dam during Operation Chastise, and later commanded 617 Squadron temporarily, together with his medal ribbons mounted below, comprising: KCB,DSO and Bar, DFC and Two Bars, AFC, 1939-45 Star, Aircrew Europe Star, Italy Star, Defence Medal, War Medal, and 1953 Coronation Medal, framed, together with a print after Robert Taylor, “The Dambusters”, signed by (Mick) Martin, a photograph of crewmen near dispersal lorries, an embroidered RAF badge panel, and a 70th anniversary souvenir tribute by the Daily Express 2013 (5).
