Lot 172 – A Silver Plated “Anderson Medal” from 1890, awarded for for proficiency in Surgical Anatomy, 6cm in diameter, in lacquered presentation box, the medal was founded by some former pupils of Prfessor W. Anderson, who was Professor of Anatomy and Surgery at “The Imperial Naval Medical College”, in Tokyo, Japan.
