Lot 47 – A Britain’s Coronation Parade Set no 1477, probably for the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, comprising: The Gilded Coronation Coach with two seated figures, eight horses with four riders, eight walking outriders, six footmen with swords (one a.f.), thirteen Coldstream Guardsmen at present arms with officer (slightly a.f.), seven lifeguard troopers on black horses, seven Royal Horseguards on black horses, nine infantry and an officer at present arms, four yeomen with pikes, two empty-handed generals on horseback, two aides-de-camp, and four policemen on white horses, in fitted box, a.f. (72 pieces).
