Meet The Team
Alan has been with Ibbett Mosely since 2008; making Partner in 2014. He heads our Fine Art Auctions Department and assists with any property auctions we hold. Previously Alan worked with Phillips, Bonhams and Hobbs Parker and is widely experienced in all aspects of the auction business.
Nicola has been with the company for nine years, and is a Trainee Valuer, and Cataloguer. She has recently passed her level three studies for her NAVA qualifications. Her particular interests are Jewellery and Books, but, is also building up a good general knowledge of all aspects of the auction business. She is also a customer advisor within our Yorkshire Building Society agency, that the department operates. She has recently returned to us, after having had a baby boy.
Wendy is our chief customer advisor within the Yorkshire Building Society agency, and has been with us for eleven years. She also assists the team in all aspects of the running of the Auctions and Valuations department.
Ben is the most recent addition to the team. He is the Saleroom Manager, within the department, and is a customer advisor in the Yorkshire Building Society agency. He is also behind our social media activity, and might want to become an Auctioneer and Valuer one day, once he completes his NAVA qualifications.
Sam has been with the Company for six years, and is our Photographer and Head Porter. She also helps with the catalogue production, and also with commission and telephone bids, on Sale Day.
Chewy is a recent addition to our team. He is our 4 year old border terrier guard dog, and is in charge of security.

Ibbett Mosely Auctioneers & Valuers
We have been Auctioneers & Valuers for over 90 years, and are primarily an Antiques and Fine Art Saleroom.
Our Auctioneer, Alan White has over 40 years of experience covering all aspects of the Auction Market, and is also able to carry out valuations for Probate (Inheritance Tax), Open Market (For Sale by Auction), Family Division, and Matrimonial purposes. He has been joined by Trainee Valuer and Cataloguer, Nicola Rainsley - Hughes.
The other key members of the team are Benjamin Burridge (Saleroom Manager), and Wendy Weaver, together with Porter and Photographer Sam Crowe - White.
Our Auction Sales are also held via an online bidding platform at Easy Live Auction.
Our other duties include assisting our Residential Sales Department in putting together our Property Auctions.
